Roof Repair Program

Do you need a new roof but cannot afford replacing it? If you meet our income limits we can help you.
We have grants available through our roofing program.

Qualifications:

1. Reside in the City limits of the City of Chattanooga.
2. Meet HUD Low to Moderate Income qualification (Call for current income limits)
3. House must be owner occupied.
4. All City and County property taxes must have been paid through the current year.
5. Senior Citizens and disabled homeowners will get priority consideration.
6. Other restrictions may apply. Please call for more information.

The work will be done by professional contractors who will provide a five year comprehensive warranty on labor, material and installation. The program is through a five year forgivable grant. After five years the total amount of the grant will be forgiven.

We have a limited amount of funding for the roofing program. We will try to help as many people as possible this year. If we run out of money and can’t help you this year, then we will put you on the waiting list for next year’s roofing program.
